Making More Māori in Tech.

Technology needs diverse voices.
More Māori in Tech was created to celebrate Māori working across the technology sector and inspire others to see themselves in those careers.
It became a platform for visibility, storytelling and encouragement.

Helping change perceptions while encouraging more Māori to explore careers in technology.

PIRIPI AI TWIN
Scaling knowledge through AI.
People continually asked for career advice, technology guidance and mentoring.
There are only so many conversations one person can have.
Piripi was created as an AI twin that allows anyone to learn from my experience, whenever they need it.
The impact
Making mentoring more accessible while demonstrating how AI can amplify people rather than replace them.
CHAPTER 4 TŪPUNA PAI
Building AI that refelcts our values.
Preparing organisations for AI isn't only about productivity.
It's also about responsibility.
Tupuna Pai is an AI platform designed to support better decision-making while keeping people, organisations and the Taiao at the centre.
It shows that AI can be practical, ethical and grounded in Māori values.
